We try to speak every week with Jennifer but it's difficult with the jet lag. We spoke about lot of topics like sports. Jennifer do soccer and she won her match last sunday, unlike french soccer team... fortunately we have a good rugby team, which won against Tonga.
We compared our system of education and the pace of our courses. It's very interesting to discover other system an other way of life.
Jennifer is hispanic so she has in addition to american party like thanksgiving she celebrates mexican parties with hee family. The fact that their parents don't speak english surprised me but in Santa Ana almost the entire population speak spanish.
this is a very multicultural situation! Florian says that the French have a good rugby team... but it's not always the case.
ReplyDeleteI think French people forget about the big Hispanic community present in the US, because it is not visible on movies so much nor on the popular series here.
