We were on hollidays this week so the rythm was different and we changed the day of our conversation.
We spoke about the differences between Suburb and Banlieux. It was a difficult subject i think because in French, the word Banlieux can refer to differents significations : that can be an area around the city or that can have negative connotation where we imagine big bulding and were the life is less quiet than others districts.
She said that for her, the suburb is related to area with more plants, where people have big house and life is more calm than in the city.
Last week, Minnie said that they have watched the movie : "Le premier jour du reste de ta vie" in french version with the subtitles. I will try to watch it for the next time!
