Multiculturalism

            The conversation with Minnie was fun, we talked about our families. Hers come from Vietnams. Her grandfather was in the army and he make the Vietnam war before coming to the USA. The familly of his father is still leaving on Vietnam so she go to see them one time a year.  It's a little bit like my family in Holland but the difference it's that Minnie can speak easier with her familly because she speak their language.
The father of Minnie is a doctor, so i asked why she didn't whant to be like him but she explain that, like in France, medecine studies are really hard.


               Last weekend I was in Paris so I show her some pictures of the monuments that i visited like the opera Garnier 

We talked about Christmas and Thanksgiving. We try to  compare the American dinner and the French one but she explain to me that in her familly they eat a Vietmamese dinner. I show her some picture of Foie gras and Dinde. 

Next weekend it's thanksgiving, i don't really knew what they do for this celebration. So she said that they eat all day long and at the end of the afternoon they go shopping because the price of multimedia ... are cut. For Thanksgiving, shooping centers oppen at 5 a.m !
